With my action I would like to contribute to scientific cancer research at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek. At the AVL, researchers work every day to develop the best treatment methods for every cancer patient.

To raise funds, I will partake in an expedition to summit Aconcagua in Argentina during the month of December 2024.

Having previously raised funds for a hospice facility in my home country of Ireland on a similar expedition to Kilimanjaro in 2022, I now want to raise funds for a cause here in the Netherlands. Any donation will assist in cancer care and research taking place at the AVL.

Cancer has directly impacted my own family, and it is very likely you or someone you know has been affected also. Institutions like the AVL are key to ensuring this hardship is eradicated for future generations, and to offer some comfort and necessary treatment for those going through these tough times today.
